However, please do not obstruct our neighbours&#8217; driveways or disturb their privacy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Please note that there are no longer any permitted bridleways in the wood.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Organised events need prior permission from the Council &#8211; please contact us and we will forward your enquiry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The wood has no dedicated trails for off-road (pedal) cycling and this is not an activity that is encouraged. Motorcycles are prohibited. Many paths are unsuitable for cycling, though if used with care and consideration for pedestrian visitors and particularly their children, the less mobile and dogs\u00a0\u2013 who must all be given priority \u2013 the Yellow trail is suitable for solo cyclists. However, parts of this trail in the north are very narrow.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We encourage all visitors to make a donation of \u00a31 in the &#8216;honesty box&#8217;. In particular, there are some areas of the wood where the paths have been fenced off to create quiet areas favourable to the breeding of Woodcock, which is very sensitive to disturbance by humans and dogs.
