Wild Service

There are four known Wild Service trees in the wood: three set back from the entrance drive (two on the left and one on the right) and one in Brook Glade. Most probably all were deliberately planted. There was a fifth (above and below) in Hut Glade, but unfortunately this was removed during winter contractor work. Indeed, the characteristic leaf shape is the only simple way to identify the tree, so in winter they look very plain.
