Recently, a report of two Woodcock in the woods was posted on the London birdwatching site by Robert Callf. Nice to know they are still in the woods.

Last Friday, during the workparty, I heard quite close to the Centre, the call of a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. These have been recorded in the woods before, but most sightings have to the north of the wood around the swallow holes area.
